Today at work I worked!! I know to most that would be an obvious statement but I work in a very relaxed office and quite honestly not to many people are renting vacation homes on the beach just now. So lately I have been spreading work out over a couple days so I would fee semi productive but then I found a project. It was two fold and had the best aspect ever….ORGANIZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O how I love to organize, I am just like Monica in Friends when she gets to make folders for Chandler. I redid our little welcome packets and then made it into a pamphlet and then folders. It was joyous.
Is that not the best name ever! Last night me and my lovely Swede watched the world baseball classic and that was one of the players from South Korea. I really enjoyed watching my swede slowly melt to the amazing baseballness. I know he will forever and ever be devoted to hockey and I am really ok with that because there is blood and gore galore for my casual enjoyment. In Angelhom we would walk to the hockey games and have standing only seats right at the glass. The crowd was so devoted there they would stand for what seemed to me ages and cheer and scream and chant like I had never experienced. The type of small town feel where you rally for your team not because they won the World Series or you like there jerseys but because they are right there in the town. When we would go shopping at the Ahlens or the grocers my lovely Swede would always point out the players to me and continue about our business. I was at Target with my dad and he saw a Dodgers player he would without a doubt faint. In America it is much more about the player then the game and that is what was great about watching the game last night we had no idea who these guys were but it was great to watch baseball.

I was going to write some sort of post about my seven months in Europe. At least say which countries I visited and loved which ones were crappy. Something that would help explain how I have my Swedish boyfriend and why I am going back to Sweden and then back here. All I can think write now though is wow I am damn hungry and why does it smell like where I took theatre classes as a kid in my office. O and I suppose how I have my Swedish boyfriend is a bit odd sounding but I meant like how we met or maybe you know it was in London. Or maybe you dont want to be reading any of this nonsense. I wonder if I could take a nap at my desk right now and get away with it?

If you have ever worked with the American Embassy in Stockholm I would love to know. And I dont mean worked like were paid by them because I am sure it would be illegal and what not but I mean had to go there as a normal citizen. We are in the process of finishing my lovely swedes school visa paperwork and it is exhausting. I am feel like having a little mini breakdown about every day. Yesterday morning we went to the school to submit what took us weeks to gather seeing as we are in America and the papers were in Sweden and in Swedish thus needing translations only to be told it was wrong. Then after that we found out that we will need to spend approximately $400 on paperwork in Sweden and money on making a trip to Stockholm. My lovely swede after reviewing it all online was however so calm and made me feel like i was a bit silly for wanting to hid under my blankies and cry. So that is where we are with being a multi cultural couple- love really makes you blind at first to why o why couldnt I love an american like a normal girl from Orange County. I would never ever trade him for that though so hooray for struggle ?!
I was also thinking if only this blog had a theme people would know why they should read it but I do not think that is ever going to happen. Themes or people know why the heck they are reading. I figure I must have some sort of regulars because I have at least a few people everyday. OOOOO and one day last week I even had 12 reads!! I know I have hit the bigs ( a little baseball talk for you! (i love baseball))

Today the computer technician wizard person thingy guy came here and did computer things with computer majic. Yes I do not understand any of this. All I know is that I had about a three hour time span at work with nothing to do. Without a computer I am pretty useless. I did take my nail polish off, read the paper (boy that was depressing no wonder I dont do it more) and drank coffee.
Now that I had all that free time my mind cannot start working again.

Last night I had a terrible case of escaping sleep. I kept being right on the verge with a great yawn then presto it would fly away into where sleep goes.. Anyways before all this sleep escapades my lovely swede came in after watching hockey and turned of what was shaping up to be a great episode of house hunters international. My response was this boy better be giving out gold nuggets or he is asking for death. ( I take my HGTV very serious I think of it as my pre-house buying homework) As these thoughts are racing about my head he has turned on Jimi Hendrix layed down in bed and said lets cuddle.
Yep gold nuggets it was because there is nothing I like better then music made between 1955 and 1975 and a damn good cuddle. It was blissful heaven the kind of thing you jsut do not get anywhere else but in love. He also managed a great gem with this “we are in a really lovey place in our relationship right now it is so great”.
This Saturday is six months and I know its not always like this but damn the bad really is ok for all this good.

Spending seven months essentially as a nomad in Europe I had no real chance for habits or routine. My days except for the two months I spent working were as carefree as a lark. Even the two months of work were pretty lackadazical as I couldnt give a rats ass on the job. I realize that is in bad taste but honest and now a little off point. So with all this carefree time I drank. Alot of drinking really-when you have nowhere reals to be in the morning just waking up again in some hostel or room or well hopefully in doors its a good choice to drink. Now my life is a routine up to the point of every Tuesday dinner at my parents and Sunday shopping the used record store. Somewhere in all this routine my lovely Swede and I have developed a big old caffeine habit. This is of course fed by Grande Latte Starbucks so now we wake up with headaches and must have something with coffee.
Thanks Suburbia!

Some birthday presents your remember for ages and think back with warm happy thoughts. Some you think what the hell why would anybody ever spend money on such crap. And then some you just wish would go away forever like ones from your great grandma that you have to use to please her or like your period. At my tenth birthday party between cake and real wrapped presents I go to the bathroom since I am human and not a robot or anything and look down in my panties and there it is blood. Now I was well informed of this whole becoming a women thing, I had real all the Judy Blume books so not wanting to miss out on anything I thought hell to this crap and went back out to my party and had fun. When everyone had gone home and it was going to start becoming a problem I told my mom very calmly and she freaked the fuck out. The “situation” that had moments ago seemed merely like a clean up activity was now freaking me the fuck out. I spent the next day crying my eyes out on the couch, I had no idea why but if my mom was upset well then so was I.
Now 13 and a half years later I sometimes feel like I dont have a handle on the “situation”. Lets see when was 28 days ago…………..
